Buchanan and Moodley shine in a weekend of progress and hard work
#AragonGP – 2025
The Aragon Grand Prix has left a very positive feeling for Cormac Buchanan and Ruche Moodley, protagonists of a weekend in which they have confirmed their evolution and commitment to the team’s work. Both riders have proven to be increasingly consolidated within the championship, taking to track everything learned in the latest GPs.
Cormac Buchanan signed one of his most outstanding performances of the year by conquering his second top 10 of the season. In a race marked by the very high temperatures and the demanding degradation of the tires, the New Zealander rider knew how manage each phase with intelligence. Mid race, when many began to struggle, Buchanan increased his pace, closing the distance with the head group until it was placed only 1.7 seconds from the winner, David Muñoz.
But beyond the final result, Cormac’s performance was especially notable for its constancy and speed. He raced at the same pace as the leaders, even exceeding his own classification time marked on Saturday. This confirmed its growing maturity and the potential of the work he has been doing with the technical team.
Ruche Moodley also left a performance to remember. In just his second race after recovering from a wrist injury, the South African rider completed a very solid race, in which he knew how to measure the timming perfectly. With an intelligent strategy and increasing his pace, Moodley was half a second faster than the riders who preceded him in the last laps, which allowed him to end again inside the points, a result that confirms the good work that Ruché is doing with the team.
We close a very positive weekend, not only in terms of results, but also for the reinforced confidence in the project and in the talent of our young riders. Both Buchanan and Moodley have shown that they are ready to continue growing and taking firm steps in the category. Aragon has undoubtedly been a clear sign that work and constancy are paying off.
